Bilfinger has over 35,000 employees globally and is primarily active in four regions: Continental Europe, Northwest Europe, North America and the Middle East.  This Senior Paralegal Position will be part of our North America headquarter team based in Houston, Texas, and includes a strong compensation package.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience minimum as a Senior Paralegal or similar role in a corporate setting.
  • Extraordinary organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Team first mentality
  • Ability to calmly and professionally handle high pressure situations
  • Experience with construction and oil/gas industry required
  • Corporate governance, insurance and contract database experience desired.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting attorneys with active litigation and arbitration docket
  • Build and maintain contract, litigation, corporate governance and invoice filing systems
  • Coordinate with Bilfinger North America subsidiaries to centralize contracts
  • Coordinate with Bilfinger Insurance Group and broker regarding insurance coverage issues
  • Research and investigate complex legal matters
  • Maintain legal calendar
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
