Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressively responsible HR experience.
  • Proficiency in the Human Resources total body of knowledge.
  • Experienced with in-depth HR practices, wage/hour laws, compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of HRIS systems (ADP and SuccessFactors) including design and implementation experience; payroll and payroll system experience a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of employee full life-cycle end to end processes.
  • Thorough understanding of strategic and actionable HR solutions.
  • Highly deadline-oriented with strong multitasking, project management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to look at things from a strategic lens and translate them into Human Resources processes while creating a positive business impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with advanced problem solving capabilities.
  • Strong relationship building skills to influence change and decision making at all levels.
  • Detail oriented with both quantitative and qualitative outputs.
  • Ability to ensure privacy/confidentiality of all employee information required.
  • Strong team player who works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office products.

Scope of Responsibility:

The position will have multiple areas of responsibility in the Human Resources (HR) department.  This role will be responsible for the creation, coordination and implementation efforts of major  HR processes and procedures to support the Corporate and Field Offices while ensuring a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction and service.  The primary area is the operational aspects of the department with a special focus on compliance, audit and control processes for all functions from “Hire to Retire”.  

Position Duties:

  • Knowledge documentation with the intent to simplify and enhance the employee and manager experience as processes evolve and change. 
  • Define, maintain and update all Human Resources operational procedures while driving knowledge across the organization.
  • Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives in all operational Human Resources aspects to enhance department services to internal and external customers.
  • Proactive project management responsibilities for HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute large, complex projects from conception to implementation with a diverse stakeholder population across the organization and other entities on a regional and international basis.
  • Travel may be required approximately 10 to 25% of the time to project sites including travel out of state and international travel.
  • Perform a wide variety of increasingly responsible technical and professional duties in support of the Human Resources Department functions.
  • Create and provide various HR reports incorporating several systems and sources of information.
  • Data entry and management into various HR systems.
  • Support Internal and External audits as well as prepare information in response to upcoming audit needs and optimize HR processes.
  • Take and provide feedback from various sources in the organization.
  • Continuing education on Human Resources matters and stay abreast of changes and updates in the field.
  • Participate in industry and HR groups.
  • Provide support to other functions in the HR department aligned with cross-training and collaborative team measures.
  • Perform other HR Department duties as necessary. This position is not limited to the above outlined items and responsibilities may increase with time and experience.
