Bilfinger Inc, known as a leading one stop, shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking Bolt Up's for our Port Lavaca, TX location.

Boilermaker

Job Tasks/Description

· Bolt up and unbolt various flanges in their respective work areas when needed

· Verification of the correct bolts and gaskets per specifications.

· Installation and removal of various types of blinds and verification of the proper material and thickness per specifications.

· Perform torquing of bolts per specifications.

· Operation of mobile equipment when required. (i.e., Aerial lifts, Forklifts, etc.) Must have certification prior to operating any equipment.

· Work in conjunction with pipefitters and welders.

· Lead journeymen and supervisors must be trained in the permitting process.

· Knowledge and understanding of energy isolation. (i.e., Lock Out/Tag Out)

· Demolition and re-installation of piping systems.

· Using a variety of tools. (i.e., pipe wrenches, line up bars, hammer wrenches, etc.)

· Ability to identify and mitigate hazards associated with the job tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

• NO PER DIEM

Bolt Up Requirements

· Proven experience in bolt up.

· Good communication skills

· Physical ability to perform job tasks (i.e., standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting, etc.)

· Ability to prioritize job tasks and strong attention to detail.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Bolt Up: 2 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• TWIC CARD (Required)
• HAIR FOLLOCLE DRUG TEST 
• MUST PASS FPC COURCES

Ability to Commute:

• Port Lavaca, TX 77979 (Preferred)
