Pipe Foreman

Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc., known as a leading one stop shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking a Pipe Foreman. This will be a traveling position. This position requires a self-motivated individual to ensure work is executed in line with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, as well as corporate and client expectations.

The Pipe Foreman will provide overall direction and daily coordination of the installation of plumbing, and piping systems. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.
• Plan the daily and weekly activities for each Mechanical crew.
• Monitor work performance and productivity of all crafts.
• Review, analyze and update labor hours and job cost codes.
• Evaluate the complexity of the piping design and maintenance, and special allocation of systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge/experience in piping and mechanical systems required.
• Experience and training in safe rigging practices.
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines.
• Experience managing multiple crews.
• Broad understanding of piping/mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel and relocate on an as needed basis.
• Ability to work in a fast paced construction environment.
• Minimum 5 years on Industrial Construction Projects with previous leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
