Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc, known as a leading one stop, shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking Fire Watchers for our Port Lavaca, TX location.
Fire Watchers
Job Tasks/Description- Safety is a priority; employee must understand construction risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisor
- Watching for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees.
- Keeping flammable materials away from ignition sources
- Extinguishing fires immediately or activating the fire alarm in the event of fire.
- Fire watch officers shall not leave their assigned areas except in an emergency.
- Notifying the correct personnel in the event of a fire
- Fire watch officers shall be provided with a means for continuous communication with a constantly attended location.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Fire watch Requirements:- NO PER DIEM
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
- Quality minded, positive team player, safety conscious and production focused.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience 1year (Required)
