Bilfinger Inc, known as a leading one stop shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking Millwrights for a long term maintenance job.

 

Summary:

This position provides necessary technical and hands-on support to continuously improve and maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products as our highest priority. Maximize the Reliability & Availability of plant equipment, Carries out routine maintenance on rotating equipment, visual checks of seals for leaks, disassembles equipment, replaces parts as directed, cleans equipment, replaces packing and gaskets, various repairs as appropriate, checks bearings and reassembles. Ensures correct alignment and tolerances, using precision measurement instruments. Carries out routine preventive maintenance of machinery according to schedules, check lists and specific equipment requirements. This includes changing oils, greasing, cleaning strainers and filters and general overhaul of equipment. Repairs and or replaces defective parts, reassembles overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring upon start-up.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Safety is a priority; employee must understand construction risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisor.
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment and facilities.
  • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Assists in planning annual shutdown and major equipment turnarounds.
  • Strict Adherence and support of the Plant Safety Protocols & Good housekeeping
  • Perform Continuous Improvement : Improve Reliability of Equipment/Process, Improve Safety, Improve Maintainability, Reduce Cost
  • Maintain / Update the job completion records Maintain / Update the job completion records using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Perform Technical investigation & Root Cause Analysis
  • Interact closely with the Planning Team and ensure smooth operation
  • Request for external material and services if needed
  • Ensure the KPI of the Maintenance Team is achieved
  • Responsible for emergency call-outs and Bi-weekly on-call duty.

 

Requirements:

  • Min 6 years of millwright experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED and completion or craft apprenticeship
  • Quality minded, positive team player, safety conscious and production focused.
  • Have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
  • Possess a working knowledge of machine alignment.
  • Must be able to assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
  • NCCER certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than six feet off of the ground
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment (face-shield, gloves, safety harness, etc.)
